Legend of Wiang Kum Kam Chiangmai Province.


Wiang Kum Kam is located Tha Wang, Tan Saraphi, Chiang Mai province. It was a regional community of Hariphoonchai  before. This city created by Phra Ya Mungrai in the year 1837 B.E. by there is a Royal House as a residence and have a market and Khukum temple which contains the bones of his wife. Jedee is a square containing Phra Phutharoob 15 Ong per side. In dynastry Mungrai.
Wiang Kum Kam is a south of Chiang Mai town . In the year 2451 B.E the Jedee has a repair with Myanmar technician so, it has a style of Myanmar art.
Downtown is a rectangular 1,000-meter long, 600 meters wide Parallel to the old path of the Ping River which located along the diagonal of the southwest and 3 the other side of the southeast. There are two layers surrounded by a wall and there is a moat between the wall. It is open water from the Ping River to keep them in town.
Wiang Kum Kam, discovered the  Hariphoonchai ceramic art on the back under the base chapel, booth hall and castle which, make us know that  this is the Hariphoonchai community. Also found archaeological remains such as Kanthom chapel, Ekhang temple, Phutia temple and Thatkwaw temple.
From Miang Chiangmai, there are 3way road to Wiang Kum Kam as following.
1.       Chiangmai – Lumphun Road.
2.       Kho Klang Road.
3.       Sriboonriang Road.
