Wiang Kum Kam is located Tha Wang, Tan Saraphi, Chiang Mai province. It was a regional community of Hariphoonchai before. This city created by Phra Ya Mungrai in the year 1837 B.E. by there is a Royal House as a residence and have a market and Khukum temple which contains the bones of his wife. Wiang Kum Kam, discovered the Hariphoonchai ceramic art on the back under the base chapel, booth hall and castle which, make us know that this is the Hariphoonchai community. Also found archaeological remains such as Kanthom chapel, Ekhang temple, Phutia temple and Thatkwaw temple.
From Miang Chiangmai, there are 3way road to Wiang Kum Kam as following.
1. Chiangmai – Lumphun Road.
2. Kho Klang Road.
3. Sriboonriang Road.
